Secondary Registration

High school is a big stepping stone for you and your child. Our Catholic secondary schools strive to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. We offer something special for everyone, from specialized academic programs to competitive sports, from arts programs to Specialist High Skills Majors. The inclusive, welcoming and academic culture that our Catholic schools offer will help students build skills for success and set the foundation for their adult life.

How to Register

Step 1: Find Your Designated School
Confirm the designated school for your home address using the Find Your School tool.

In Grade 8 at an LDCSB Elementary School and starting Grade 9 at an LDCSB Secondary School? Students will register with the support of the Secondary Guidance Counsellor.  Information will be provided to their Elementary Schools.

Transferring from one LDCSB Secondary School to another? Please complete the Online LDCSB Transfer Form to provide your updated information.  This form cannot be saved for later submission, so please make sure it is fully completed and submitted in one session.

Please note that enrollment in our Catholic secondary schools is available to all students (both Catholic and non-Catholic) coming from Catholic, public and private schools as well as students who have been home-schooled.

Registration for 2025-26 opens on January 7, 2025.

Registration for 2024-25 is open. All new students and inactive returning students need to complete the online registration form. You will need to sign in or create an account if you have not already done so. This ensures you can access all your applications and/or complete any unfinished ones. Please be sure to fill out the registration form for the appropriate school year.

Prepare the following documents to accompany your online registration submission. All documents must originals and in English (or certified translation).

  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency (at least 2 pieces of registered identification: current property tax bill, property assessment notice, tenant rental lease agreement, utility bill). Note: drivers license, health card, phone/retail bill are not accepted.
  • Proof of immigration status for non-Canadian born students. (Families who are temporary residents in Canada (ie. Work Permit, Study Permit) must first submit a request to attend school to the Admissions Office at [email protected] before contacting the school).
  • Legal documents related to custody and access, if applicable.

To finalize the application process, please use the provided link to either create a registration account or sign in. If this is your initial online registration, you will need to create an account. This ensures you can maintain a record of all your applications and return at your convenience to complete any unfinished ones. Make sure to fill out the registration form for the appropriate school year.

Following completion of these two steps, the Secondary school may have other requirements/next steps, including course selection. Please see the school’s website for more information.

For more information, contact [email protected] or refer to the Board's Admission of Students Policy.
